Neyser Villareal leaving Millonarios?

Futbolred reported that Neyser Villarreal has refused to renew his contract with Millonarios. César Torres blamed Millonarios for the poor relationship with the footballer. Villarreal was demoted to the Under-20 team, and his recovery from an injury was delayed after an incident on social media where he was wearing the América de Cali jersey. Villarreal has an agent and family advising him about his future.

Neyser Villarreal has been aparted from Millonarios due to his complex contractual situation. He will not renew his contract and plans to leave as a free agent in November to consider offers from abroad.

Néiser Villarreal, a forward for Millonarios and the Colombian U-20 National Team, was linked to several major European clubs. However, due to complications arising from Villarreal signing contracts with three different agents, his transfer has not materialized. The confusion over which agent would receive the commission has stalled the transfer process. Villarreal remains the most valuable player at Millonarios, valued at 2.8 million euros, with his contract expiring in December 2025. He might leave in the next transfer window if the issues are resolved.

Although Villarreal was linked to Atlético de Madrid, the journalist César Augusto Londoño stated that Millonarios is not aware of any deal with Atlético. The player's agent has rejected good offers and is looking to terminate the contract in December to negotiate with another club with Villarreal as a free agent. Currently, Transfermarkt estimates the player's market value at 1.20m euros.
