Nemanja Maksimović Transfer from Panathinaikos to Valencia
Nemanja Maksimovic is back in the spotlight for Valencia as they consider him for strengthening their midfield. According to Radio MARCA Valencia, Panathinaikos, where Maksimovic is currently playing, intends to retain him until after their Champions League qualifiers against Rangers on July 22 and 30. However, the club is willing to discuss his departure if they receive adequate financial compensation. The 30-year-old Serbian midfielder, who has earned 56 caps for his national team, had a previous stint with Valencia after being acquired from Astana in June 2017. Although his time on the field was limited due to changes within the club, he later spent six seasons at Getafe following a 10 million euro transfer, before moving to Panathinaikos last season. Now, with interest from both Valencia and Oviedo, Maksimovic has a promising opportunity to return to La Liga, provided that Panathinaikos' conditions of keeping him until August and obtaining financial compensation are met.
