Nemanja Maksimović Transfer from Panathinaikos to Oviedo
Nemanja Maksimovic was previously approached by Oviedo, who showed interest in him. However, Maksimovic rejected Oviedo's offer as they were unable to meet the financial expectations of Panathinaikos and had proposed a reduction in the player's salary.
Gazzetta.gr reports on the growing interest in Nemanja Maksimović from various clubs. Besides Sevilla, Oviedo has also shown interest in Nemanja Maksimović. Panathinaikos recently rejected a 5 million EUR offer for him. Any interested party would need to offer more and provide a better contract than his current 1.8 million EUR annual salary. He is under contract with Panathinaikos until the summer of 2027.
According to a report from Spain, Oviedo wants to acquire Nemanja Maksimovic, but Panathinaikos is not entering negotiations at the moment. Oviedo aims to strengthen their midfield and sees Maksimovic as a valuable addition due to his experience in La Liga with Valencia and Getafe. Panathinaikos has already rejected an offer from a club in Arabia, as they do not intend to sell before the Champions League qualifying matches against Rangers, unless an offer exceeds the club's demands. Maksimovic's contract with Panathinaikos is valid until the summer of 2027.
