It is stated that a move to Europe is possibly more likely for Neil Pierre in the summer, and that it is inevitable he will eventually return to Europe. SciSports' Career Advice tool suggests that Pierre should not hastily join one of Europe's biggest clubs and recommends a transfer to a club that would serve as an intermediate step. The tool lists Bournemouth as his top option with a Club Fit rating of 82 out of 100, followed by Real Sociedad. Aston Villa, Leeds, Crystal Palace, Everton, Fulham and Newcastle also receive decent scores.

Lyngby Boldklub is close to signing Neil Pierre from Philadelphia Union on a loan deal until the summer. The two clubs have reached an agreement, and Pierre only needs to finalize the last details before he can move from the USA to Denmark. The American center-back will arrive in Denmark in the coming week to finalize the last details before a transfer. Journalist Jose Roberto Nunez has also written that Philadelphia Union and Lyngby Boldklub were negotiating a deal.
