Nazariy Rusyn Transfer from Sunderland to Aberdeen
Aberdeen considered a move for Sunderland striker Nazariy Rusyn. Rusyn revealed he held talks over a potential move to Pittodrie. He struggled to settle at Sunderland and was looking for a full-time move or loan. He stated that he spoke with Aberdeen among other European teams.
Ukrainian forward Nazariy Rusyn, who is currently with Sunderland, was on the verge of a loan move to Aberdeen. However, he personally turned down the opportunity and is now exploring other possibilities. The 26-year-old began his career at Dynamo Kyiv and has also played for clubs such as Zorya Luhansk, Legia Warsaw, Dnipro, and Chornomorets before joining Sunderland in the summer of 2023. Although he has made 32 appearances and scored two goals, Rusyn has found it difficult to secure playing time this season. Aberdeen were keen to acquire him, but he opted not to proceed with the loan to the Scottish club.
