Nazar Kovalenko, a midfielder born in 2006, is set to begin training at Mezőkövesd starting Friday, as part of a cooperation agreement established with Mezőkövesd after Kazincbarcika's promotion. The previous agreement between Diósgyőr and Kazincbarcika was dissolved due to Kazincbarcika's promotion, which led to advanced negotiations with Mezőkövesd Zsóry FC. Kovalenko will join three other Diósgyőr academy players there to gain experience in the senior league.
