Naif Aguerd Transfer from West Ham United to Roma

AS Roma has contacted West Ham for a loan deal for Nayef Aguerd. However, West Ham has refused, stating they are only interested in a permanent transfer. Aguerd is under contract with West Ham until June 2027.

Tuttomercato reports on the potential transfer of Nayef Aguerd from West Ham to Roma. Nayef Aguerd, a central defender, has returned from a loan at Real Sociedad and could leave West Ham, where he still has two years left on his contract. Roma has shown interest in acquiring him. Contacts between Aguerd's entourage and Roma's director of football, Ghisolfi, have already occurred. Roma's Massara is considering the operation, but Aguerd will be involved in the Africa Cup of Nations in early 2025. West Ham seems open to selling him outright after purchasing him for 35 million in 2022.

Roma is advancing in the race for Nayef Aguerd, a Moroccan international central defender from West Ham, who recently concluded a loan at Real Sociedad. The club has decided to target him after Juventus showed interest, as reported by SkySport. A previous offer was made during the previous management, and it is now up to the new sporting director, Frederic Massara, to decide whether to continue negotiations. Aguerd is seen as a valuable option to boost Roma's defense for the 2025/2026 season.
