According to Sky Sport, Nayef Aguerd is leaving Olympique Marseille. A deal for him to join Real Sociedad failed after the player withdrew after passing medical examinations with the club from San Sebastian. For this reason, Aguerd could become an option for Napoli if an agreement for Badiashile is not reached.

A report from Tuttomercato states that Napoli is considering a paid loan with an option to buy for Nayef Aguerd from Olympique Marseille.

Napoli has shown strong interest in signing Olympique de Marseille defender Nayef Aguerd. Spanish club Real Sociedad is also pursuing him and has had two offers rejected, the second of which was a €2.5 million paid loan with a mandatory €10 million purchase option.
