According to sources close to the agents industry who informed CaughtOffside, Inter Milan, Juventus, and Crystal Palace are all interested in Manchester City's 30-year-old Netherlands international defender Nathan Aké for the January transfer window. Both Italian clubs are seeking to strengthen their defenses this winter. Aké's tactical versatility, allowing him to play as a centre-back, left-back, or in a three-man defence, makes him an appealing option. Crystal Palace's interest is connected to the potential departure of Marc Guehi. Guehi has received interest from Liverpool, Manchester United, and Real Madrid, and Palace views Aké as a possible replacement. Manchester City are reportedly open to offers for the defender in the range of €30-35 million. He joined the club in August 2020 and has a contract until 2027. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €22.00m. Aké has made five league appearances this season and is understood to be open to a transfer for more regular playing time, particularly with the 2026 FIFA World Cup in mind. He has earned 56 caps for his country. Manchester City are not actively selling him but are prepared to consider reasonable bids. Other Premier League and European clubs are also monitoring the situation. Sources in Spain and Germany have suggested there is interest from teams in those countries.
