Trabzonspor have identified Burkina Faso international Nasser Djiga as a potential target to strengthen their defence in the January transfer window. The Turkish side reportedly considers the 23-year-old a potential replacement for veteran skipper Stefan Savic, whose contract expires next summer. This represents renewed interest from Turkey in the player, as Wolves had previously signed him ahead of Galatasaray. A potential deal may be difficult, as Wolves are in a strong negotiating position due to the four years remaining on Djiga's contract. It is also noted that convincing the defender to leave could be a challenge for Trabzonspor, as he is now playing regularly at Molineux. The defender, who has 16 caps and one goal for his country, joined Wolves in February 2025 and has a current market value of €8.00m, according to Transfermarkt. Rangers have also been linked with the player.
