Al-Dawsari is experiencing significant competition for his position at Al-Hilal from fellow players Ruben Neves and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, which led to him being mostly utilized as a substitute last season. Yet, his exceptional displays during the Club World Cup have garnered interest from not only Cercle Brugge but also Sporting Braga. Nonetheless, Al-Hilal appears reluctant to sanction his exit, whether on a permanent or temporary basis, rendering a transfer to the Jan Breydelstadion improbable.
