Maidstone United have signed former Millwall player Nana Boateng following his departure from Sutton United. The 23-year-old forward, who can play anywhere across the front line, joined Maidstone United after impressing on trial at the Gallagher Stadium this summer. Maidstone United's boss Craig Fagan said that Boateng had been outstanding throughout pre-season, and mentioned his brilliant attitude, work ethic, and a willingness to learn from his first session. Fagan also noted the player's pace and ability in one-on-one situations, adding that his performances convinced the club he had earned the signing and was ready to make an impact. Boateng, who came through Millwall's academy, gained National League South experience last season during loan spells at Hemel Hempstead and Hampton & Richmond.
