Mustapha Bundu has joined Hannover 96 on a free transfer from the English second-tier club Plymouth Argyle. The 28-year-old has committed to a contract with Hannover until 2028. Although Bundu had various other options in both England and Germany, he decided to join Hannover 96, being impressed by the club's vision. His performance in the previous Championship season, where he scored 11 goals and provided 6 assists in 42 appearances, attracted attention. Sporting director Marcus Mann expressed his happiness in having convinced Bundu during their discussions, noting Bundu's physicality, pace, and strong presence as crucial attributes for the club's system. Mann also pointed out that Bundu's height of nearly 1.90 meters would be advantageous for his role, emphasizing its importance in their strategic setup.
