According to the Bosnian media outlet 'KLIX,' Muharem Huskovic is reportedly set for a transfer to FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo. His loan to FC Blau-Weiß Linz is expected to be terminated early to facilitate the transfer to the fifth-placed team in the Premijer Liga. According to Italian sports journalist Lorenzo Lepore, Wiener Austria is set to receive a transfer fee of 150,000 euros. Huskovic is expected to undergo a medical examination on Tuesday.

Muharem Huskovic has made a decision regarding his future. Austria Wien announced on Monday evening that his contract, originally due to expire in the summer of 2025, has been extended until the end of the 2026/27 season. For the second half of the current ADMIRAL Bundesliga season, the 21-year-old will join TSV Hartberg to gain match practice under his former coach, Manfred Schmid. The sport director, Manuel Ortlechner, conveyed his confidence in Huskovic's abilities and mentioned that the loan move to Hartberg is a beneficial solution for both Huskovic and Austria Wien, as it ensures him the necessary game time which the main team cannot currently provide.

Muharem Huskovic has stayed behind in Vienna for negotiations regarding a potential transfer. The club confirmed this on Wednesday evening. Under Stephan Helm, Huskovic has played a limited role, making only ten brief appearances across all competitions in the 2024/25 season.
