The defensive midfielder is seen as a valuable asset for Diósgyőr due to youth regulations, despite not being a regular starter at Újpest. His previous experience includes playing for BVSC in NB II, where he made 21 appearances last season. The transfer is reportedly influenced by sports director Zoltán Kovács, who also transitioned from Újpest to Diósgyőr.
