Saint-Étienne inquired about 21-year-old Tunisian international Moutaz Neffati to reinforce its offensive options. Neffati wished to leave IFK Norrköpingen following the club's relegation to the Swedish second division. However, negotiations were not successful because the financial demands were considered too high by the interested clubs. The Cypriot club Pafos also faced the same obstacle. IFK Norrköpingen is reportedly asking for an estimated one million euros for the midfielder, who is under contract until the end of 2026. Neffati has three caps for his country and joined the Swedish club in June 2022. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €750k.
