RS Berkane has decided it will not open negotiations with the Turkish club Antalyaspor for a potential transfer of the 27-year-old Franco-Moroccan winger Mounir Chouiar. The Turkish club had recently inquired about the player's situation with the intention of preparing a summer offer. However, the management of RS Berkane quickly refused to start discussions about a departure this summer. This stance is due to Chouiar's performance during the season, which has made him a vital offensive player for the team. The club's leadership believes his departure would be difficult to replace and wants to retain its key players for important upcoming fixtures. Chouiar is familiar with the Turkish Süper Lig from previous experiences with clubs such as Başakşehir and Kasımpaşa. The Moroccan international, who has two caps for his country, joined the club in August 2025 and his contract runs until June 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €2.80m.
