Moses Odubajo Transfer from AEK Athens to Omonia Nicosia
SPORT24 reports that Omonia is proceeding with the acquisition of Moses Odubajo and that an agreement has been reached with the player. The English full-back will leave AEK as a free agent to continue his career in Cyprus with Omonia.
AEK and Omonia Nicosia have reached an agreement for the transfer of 32-year-old Moses Odubajo, an English and Nigerian defender who is set to continue his career in Cyprus. He is preparing to travel immediately to finalize his transfer from AEK. There had been advanced contacts between the two clubs, as Omonia Nicosia's coach, Henning Berg, was looking to reinforce the right side of his defense. Odubajo was a key target for the club despite his limited playing time this season, having made only two appearances in the Super League. In total, he made 24 appearances and scored one goal for AEK after joining from Aris in the summer of 2024. His contract with the Greek club was set to expire on June 30, 2026, and he has been capped six times by the England U20 team. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €500k.
