The possibility of Morten Thorsby, a 30-year-old Norwegian international, returning to Sampdoria has recently emerged. He previously played for the club from 2019 to 2022. The player joined Cremonese from Genoa last January, but a potential transfer back faces obstacles. One obstacle is his one million euro gross salary at Cremonese, where his contract is valid until 2028. Additionally, Sampdoria's squad already includes four players in his position: Esposito, Abildgaard, Henderson, and Conti. Due to these issues, the club may initially focus on strengthening other areas of the team.
