Former Cardiff City forward Morgan Wigley has signed for Merthyr Town following his departure from Cardiff City. The 21-year-old Welsh winger, who was part of Cardiff's academy, became a free agent after his contract expired on June 30. Merthyr have confirmed Wigley has signed a one-year deal ahead of their National League North campaign. The attacker spent the first half of last season on loan at Barry Town United.
