Elfsborg hopes to sign 20-year-old offensive midfielder Momoh Kamara from Minnesota United on a loan deal that includes a purchase option. The club has reportedly been looking to strengthen its attacking midfield positions since the arrival of new coach Björn Hamberg. Kamara, a Sierra Leone international with six senior caps and one goal, can play as a 'number ten' or on the wing. He has primarily featured for Minnesota's second team in MLS Next Pro, which he joined in January 2026.
