A source close to the negotiations provided information that Al Ahly SC has submitted a first offer for 22-year-old Guinean centre-forward Mohamed Saliou Bangoura, estimated at more than 1.6 million dollars with several performance-related bonuses. The source also indicated that discussions with MC Alger are ongoing and no final agreement has been reached. Bangoura joined MC Algiers in February 2025 and has a contract with the club until June 2028. His current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt. In the 2025/2026 Ligue 1 season, he scored 17 goals and provided 5 assists in 32 appearances. Beşiktaş and FUS Rabat have also been linked with the player.
