Kawkab Marrakech has refused an offer from FC Slovan Liberec for its 27-year-old Moroccan goalkeeper, Mohamed Jemjami. The proposal from the Czech club was for a loan with an option to buy, which was not accepted by the management of the Moroccan club. Kawkab Marrakech has set an asking price of 500,000 euros for a permanent transfer, a figure which had been previously reported. This valuation has also complicated talks with other interested parties, such as Wydad Athletic Club, who are following the situation. The rejection of the offer does not signify that Jemjami is not for sale, but that Kawkab Marrakech intends to control the process and secure conditions that meet its expectations. Jemjami joined the club in January 2023 and has a current market value of €550k, according to Transfermarkt.
