According to exclusive information obtained by Africafoot, the management of Egyptian club Pyramids FC has categorically refused to enter into discussions regarding a potential transfer for 32-year-old Mohamed Chibi, despite interest from several clubs including Russia's Lokomotiv Moscow and Al Wakrah SC of Qatar. The Cairo-based club is keen to retain the Moroccan right-back, who is considered a key player. In response to the growing interest, Pyramids FC has extended Chibi's contract until 2028 with an increased salary, making him one of the highest-paid players in the squad and a cornerstone of their long-term strategy. The club's officials have stated that they do not wish to sell him at this time, indicating his future remains with them for now.
