Raków Częstochowa has officially announced the early termination of Mitja Ilenič's loan from New York City. The Slovenian midfielder, who joined at the start of the year, had a loan that was originally scheduled to last until the end of the calendar year, but it was terminated six months early. The loan agreement included an option for a permanent transfer, which was not activated. Ilenič had been unable to secure a regular starting position. During his time with the club, he made a total of six appearances. It was reported at the end of May that the 21-year-old was in talks with NK Celje. Ilenič has 21 caps and one goal for the Slovenia U21 team. His current market value is €1.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
