19-year-old Scottish left-back Mitchell Frame has not played any first-team minutes since joining Aberdeen on 30/08/2025, although he has made four appearances and provided one assist for the club in the Lowland League. Thelin and new sporting director Lutz Pfannenstiel may need to remove some players first as their squad is already large. Frame, who has made one appearance for the Scotland U21 team, has a contract until the end of May 2029.
