According to Tuttomercato, Catania is interested in strengthening their defense with experienced players. The club is considering Mirko Miceli, an experienced Italian defender from Monopoli born in 1994, as one of several options for January. Catania is also evaluating other profiles, including Daniele Solcia of Sorrento and Claudio Manzi from Avellino. The defender joined Monopoli in August 2024, and his contract expires in June 2026.
