Striker Milan Šikanjić, 25, has completed a loan move to Koper from Zrinjski, who were seeking a new forward following Denij Jurić's exit. The deal occurs just after Šikanjić's transfer to Zrinjski from Laktasi at the summer's start, where he made only two appearances. With Laktasi, he scored 63 goals over 65 matches, finishing as the top scorer in the Bosnian second division for two successive seasons. This transfer is his first significant one abroad, as the player, a representative for Bosnia at various youth levels, has spent the last seven years in his domestic league, aside from a brief youth spell at Crvena zvezda. His contract with Zrinjski is due to expire in May 2027, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €225,000.
