Milan Aleksić is set to join the Krakow team on a one-year loan from Sunderland, with the agreement including a purchase option. Aleksić, who moved to Sunderland from FK Radnički 1923 Kragujevac last summer for 3.5 million euros, played a role in Sunderland's promotion to the Premier League, making eight appearances in the Championship last season. Tomasz Włodarczyk of Meczyki.pl confirmed the transfer, noting that the 20-year-old has already arrived in Poland and will soon be playing under coach Luka Elsner in the Ekstraklasa. Aleksić's contract with Sunderland is valid until June 30, 2028, and his market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €700,000. The midfielder had also attracted interest from Partizan.
