Przemysław Michalak from Weszlo.com reported that Mikołaj Łabojko was a player of interest to ŁKS Łódź for a long time, with initial indications regarding a potential move appearing at the beginning of January. Negotiations between the clubs were necessary due to a contract clause allowing an extension beyond June. Ultimately, the transfer did not happen because ŁKS Łódź was not able to meet the financial expectations of Polonia Bytom. Mikołaj Łabojko will instead extend his contract with Polonia Bytom on new terms, with the agreement soon to be valid until June 2028.

According to Szymon Janczyk from Weszlo.com, Mikołaj Łabojko is set to transfer from Polonia Bytom to ŁKS Łódź. Łabojko is a 24-year-old Polish, defensively-minded central midfielder. Janczyk reports that while ŁKS has reached an agreement with the player on the terms of his individual contract, negotiations between the clubs are still ongoing for a transfer to take place during the winter transfer window. Łabojko's current contract expires at the end of June, and if he does not join in the coming weeks, he will move to ŁKS in the summer as a free agent. The midfielder joined Polonia Bytom in July 2024 and has made 19 appearances in the Betclic 1 Liga this season. According to Transfermarkt, he has a current market value of €250k.
