French top-flight club Auxerre has begun negotiations to loan Belgian attacking midfielder Mike Trésor, 26, from Burnley. Trésor has received limited playing time since Burnley acquired him from KRC Genk for €18 million, making four Premier League appearances this season. It is reported that he is looking for a club where he can play more. The Belgian international, with two caps for his country, is under contract until 2028 and has a current Transfermarkt valuation of €4.00m. The French club Nice has also been associated with the player.
