VfL Wolfsburg is interested in Mika Baur. A potential transfer fee of three million euros was recently mentioned by 'Sky'.

According to 'Transfermarkt.de', VfL Wolfsburg and SV Werder Bremen are the two main candidates to sign 21-year-old German central midfielder Mika Baur from SC Paderborn in the summer. The Germany U21 international, who joined Paderborn in July 2024, is also attracting interest from other clubs, such as VfB Stuttgart and Club Brugge. The same report indicates that Baur could become Paderborn's record sale, which would surpass the current €4.5 million record established when VfL Wolfsburg signed Aaron Zehnter last summer. SC Freiburg recently allowed a buy-back option for Baur to expire. His contract at Paderborn is valid until 2027. Transfermarkt lists his current market value at €4.00m.
