Schalke 04 are reportedly trying to sign 21-year-old German midfielder Mika Baur and are considering either a permanent deal or a loan. According to SkySportDE, talks with all interested parties, including Schalke, are just beginning. The midfielder has also attracted interest from approximately four to five Bundesliga clubs, including Mainz and Bremen, in addition to clubs from abroad. The player's valuation is around €3m, while his current club, Paderborn, wants to extend his contract beyond 2027. Baur has one cap for the Germany U21 team.
