Red Star Belgrade wants to sign 31-year-old Serbian attacking player Mijat Gaćinović, whose contract with AEK Athens expires this summer. Red Star Belgrade has previously shown interest in Gaćinović; they contacted him several summers ago, but he then chose the yellow-blacks from Athens. Gaćinović has 30 caps and 2 goals for Serbia and joined the Greek club in July 2022. His current market value is €1.80m, according to Transfermarkt.
