Miguel Rubio, a 28-year-old Spanish centre-back, was not on the bench for Espanyol in the friendly at Olot, and his departure is expected. He joined Espanyol in July 2025 and has a contract until 2028. Transfermarkt lists his current market value as €1.50m. He has been linked with moves to Castellón and Real Oviedo.
