Michail Antonio, a 35-year-old free agent, is in talks to sign with Championship side Leicester City. The Jamaica international has not played senior football since his contract with West Ham was not renewed in the summer. According to The Telegraph, Antonio trained with the club and held discussions about a potential contract with the Foxes on Thursday. A short-term deal is considered a possibility that could be suitable for both parties, as Antonio is keen to return to playing and Leicester's finances are reportedly stretched. To maintain his fitness, Antonio had also trained with Brentford earlier in the season. The forward has 24 caps and 5 goals for Jamaica and has a current market value of €700k, according to Transfermarkt.
