According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Avellino are in well-advanced negotiations to sign 27-year-old Italian centre-back Michael Venturi from Venezia. Venturi joined Venezia from Cosenza in August 2025 for a reported fee of €300,000, and his contract expires on June 30, 2027. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €350,000.
