Tuttomercato has reported that 26-year-old Italian defender Michael Venturi has been transferred from Cosenza to Virtus Entella. The club, owned by the Gozzi family, was able to overcome substantial competition for the defender by increasing their offer in the final hours, almost reaching the 200,000 euros requested by Cosenza. This strategic decision not only allowed Virtus Entella to secure Venturi's services but also provided Cosenza with the necessary funds to strengthen their squad, as was confirmed by LaC News24. Venturi's contract with Cosenza was set to expire in June 2025, and Transfermarkt has estimated his market value at €400k. The cash influx from Venturi's transfer, along with another player's, is expected to enable Cosenza's sporting director Fabio Lupo to pursue new acquisitions for coach Antonio Buscé.
