Orgryte's sporting director, Pontus Farnerud, has confirmed transfer talks regarding 21-year-old English defender Michael Parker. Farnerud stated that clubs have contacted him about the player. There is growing interest in the former West Bromwich Albion centre-back. Farnerud declined to comment on whether any offers have been made. Strasbourg are reportedly monitoring the defender ahead of a potential summer move, along with Celtic, Rangers, Anderlecht, and Udinese. The Swedish club has set a valuation of around £1.5m for Parker. Parker joined Örgryte in February 2026 and his contract runs until the end of 2028.
