Michael Gregoritsch Transfer from Brøndby to Basel
According to Sacha Tavolieri, FC Basel has an interest in Michael Gregoritsch. The Swiss club has already established contact with the Austrian and is working on a loan deal that includes an option to purchase.
Reigning Swiss champion FC Basel is interested in 31-year-old Austrian national player Michael Gregoritsch as they search for a new striker during the winter transfer window. The club's sporting director, Daniel Stucki, had previously stated that they needed to strengthen their offense. Gregoritsch, who currently plays for Brøndby in Denmark, has played in the German Bundesliga for clubs including Freiburg, Augsburg, Schalke, and Hamburg. FC Basel has already made contact with the player. Gregoritsch joined the Danish club in August 2025 and has a contract that runs until June 30, 2028. In the current Superliga season, he has scored two goals and provided one assist in 11 appearances. For the Austrian national team, he has 72 caps and 23 goals. His market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.50m.
