According to portal Weszlo.com, Rakow Czestochowa's 25-year-old Polish-Ghanaian winger Michael Ameyaw is nearing a transfer to Korona Kielce. The portal also reported the move is expected to be finalized in the coming days. This development follows Ameyaw's unexpected absence from the matchday squad for a recent league fixture, despite previously being a regular starter. A spokesperson for the Czestochowa club, Damian Markowski, stated that the player's exclusion was a decision by the coaching staff based on sporting matters. It is now believed, however, that the absence was connected to the transfer. The specific terms of the deal have not been revealed. A fee will be required for a permanent transfer because Ameyaw's contract is valid until June 30, 2029. Ameyaw is a Poland international with two caps for his country. He joined Raków in September 2024. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €1.50m.
