According to Pete O’Rourke, Burton is interested in Michael Afuye, a 25-year-old winger for Radcliffe with both Irish and English nationality. Burton is considering a move for Afuye, for whom a bid from Crawley has already been rejected this summer. He joined Radcliffe in July 2025 and is under contract until June 30, 2027.
