Brighton & Hove Albion are regarded as one of the clubs most interested in Micah Mbick and had two offers for the 19-year-old English forward rejected by Charlton Athletic in January. Charlton has rejected several bids for the player over the last two transfer windows, with Southampton also being among the most interested clubs. Southampton's most recent bid was for £7m on deadline day. South London Sport reported that Charlton manager Nathan Jones confirmed a new contract offer has been made to Mbick, as the club hopes his value will continue to increase. Mbick also holds Cameroonian nationality, joined Charlton in July 2025, and his current contract is valid until June 2028. He has been capped once by England U20 and has a current market value of €300k, according to Transfermarkt.
