Mevlan Zeka, a footballer hailing from Kosovo, has committed to a contract with UTA Arad that extends until 2027. In the previous season, he netted 22 goals and held the dual roles of captain and top scorer for FC Suhareka. At the age of 31 and with a height of 1.82 meters, Zeka is expected to contribute his seasoned experience from participating in European competitions. He has played in the qualifying rounds for the Conference League, Europa League, and Champions League, where he also found the back of the net. Throughout his career in Kosovo, he has amassed three championship titles, a national cup, and a super cup. This transfer represents UTA Arad's fourth addition for the forthcoming season, following the signings of Ukrainian defender Dmitro Pospelov, midfielder Alin Roman, and North Macedonian defender Din Alomerovic.
