Slovenian goalkeeper Metod Jurhar, 28, has departed from Koper to sign a contract with Romanian second-division side Voluntari. Jurhar was among the best-rated goalkeepers in the previous Slovenian league season. This is the first move abroad for the goalkeeper, who formerly played for Celje and Aluminij. He leaves Koper after a season in which the club finished as runners-up and qualified for Europe. In the domestic championship, Jurhar played 34 matches and conceded 43 goals. He is the second important player to leave the club after the season's conclusion. At Voluntari, Jurhar joins Croatian full-back Matej Mamić, another recent arrival from the Slovenian top flight. The former Slovenia U21 international has a current market value of €500k, according to Transfermarkt.
