Meschack Elia, a 28-year-old striker for the DR Congo national team, has completed a move to the Turkish club Alanyaspor from Young Boys. The Bern-based club made the official announcement of his departure. Elia, who arrived at Young Boys in the winter of 2020, was on loan at France's FC Nantes for the second half of the most recent season. He concludes his time with the Swiss club having played in exactly 200 official matches, contributing 43 goals and 39 assists. His spell with the team included winning four Swiss championships and two cups. In its official communication, Young Boys expressed thanks for Elia's commitment over the last five years and wished both him and his family the best for the future. His current market value, as per Transfermarkt, is €4.00m.
