Mehdi Boukamir, a 22-year-old Belgian-Moroccan defender, is being loaned from Charleroi to La Louvière for one season. The player won a bronze medal with Morocco at the 2024 Olympic Games. He had not established himself at Charleroi, making 12 Jupiler Pro League appearances in the 2025/2026 season since joining in July 2022, and hopes to do so at his new club. The deal includes a purchase option for La Louvière. Boukamir's contract with Charleroi is valid until June 30, 2027, and according to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €500k.
