Maximilian Krauss Transfer from Energie Cottbus to Hansa Rostock

Bild reported on the transfer of Maximilian Krauß from Energie Cottbus to Hansa Rostock this summer. Maximilian Krauß was suspended by his current coach, Claus-Dieter Wollitz, because he planned to leave Energie Cottbus this summer after only one year and join their upcoming opponent, Hansa Rostock. The transfer was announced just a few days before their match. The coach found the timing of the announcement disrespectful to the club and teammates. There were also speculations about Krauß deliberately getting a yellow card suspension to avoid playing a match due to personal reasons, which the coach had mentioned.

Maximilian Krauß has reportedly agreed to a transfer with Hansa Rostock according to 'Lausitzer Rundschau'. As a consequence, he has been suspended from training and match operations by Energie-Trainer Claus-Dieter Wollitz. Krauß, who joined FC Energie Cottbus from Jena at the beginning of 2024, played a crucial role in the team's promotion. During the current season, he has made 33 league appearances, scoring eight goals and providing three assists. Transfermarkt currently estimates his market worth at 350k euros.
