Maxime Langner Transfer from Rot-Weiß Erfurt to Chemie Leipzig
Bild has reported on Maxime Langner's transfer from Rot-Weiß Erfurt to Chemie Leipzig this summer. Langner is making the move to Chemie Leipzig after being primarily used as a substitute at Erfurt, where he appeared 31 times last season but started only four matches. Despite receiving a new contract offer from Erfurt, Langner decided to join Chemie Leipzig to increase his playing time, as Erfurt could not assure him more minutes because of their strong squad. At 20 years old, Langner is looking for a new challenge at Chemie Leipzig, a Regionalliga club, after scoring three goals in 758 minutes last season. Erfurt's coach, Fabian Gerber, conveyed his support for Langner's decision, recognizing the young player's need for more playing time and understanding his choice to decline Erfurt's contract offer due to the competitive nature of their squad.
