Leeds United reportedly has an interest in Burnley's 24-year-old French centre-back, Maxime Estève, which has been noted in recent weeks as the club seeks a replacement for Pascal Struijk. When asked on the Inside Elland Road Podcast about the Estève link, Graham Smyth of the Yorkshire Evening Post indicated he did not have any information on the matter. Estève joined Burnley in July 2024 and is contracted until 2030. Other clubs, including RB Leipzig and Crystal Palace, have also been linked with him. His current market value is €28.00m, according to Transfermarkt. In June 2026, RB Leipzig reportedly made a €26 million offer, and in mid-2025, Burnley's asking price was reportedly as high as £50 million.
